“Manhattan Is Getting an Ambitious Indian Restaurant From a Celebrity CheF”

— EATER NY

“The chef and cookbook author Vikas Khanna, whose New York debut many years ago was at the Michelin-starred Junoon, now has a place to call his own here. He and his business partner, Jimmy Rizvi, who owns GupShup and other restaurants, settled on the East Village.”

– NEW YORK TIMES

“Bungalow has been conceptualized by Chef Khanna and Bombay House Hospitality; its official page lists very few details and describes the brand as a premier New York restaurant and cocktail bar which is rooted in ‘India’s social clubs of times past’ and ‘reimagines India’s bygone years, one dish
at a time.”

— SLURRP

“The restaurant is the fruit of a lot of hard work and passion from the beloved Indian chef. Time and again, Chef Vikas Khanna has shown that despite his lofty successes, he still hasn’t forgotten his roots.”
